HP Officejet 3830, not printing: troubleshooting guide?
HP Officejet 3830 is a very good printer, but there is a prevalent issue with all HP printers that sometimes they don't print. There can be many reasons for the major issue being a bad connection with Wi-Fi, faulty drivers, some serious issues with the printer, or maybe issues with your Windows or Mac software.

First, you can perform the manual checking of the printer. Check your ink cartridge that it is filled and does not need changing or refilling. Check the internet connection if your printer is online. Unburden your printer

So, there is a simple solution to it. You can cancel all the print jobs and unburden your printer. If possible, disconnect it from the main power source and allow it to rest for 10 to 15 minutes, and then start printing again.
Setting a default printer.
If you have various printer options and you keep using different printers all the time so there can be a human error with it. Maybe you are sending the print job to the wrong printer. To overcome this difficulty and avoid this error, you should select a default printer from your Windows.
Go to the start menu and then select 'control panel' and then go to the option of 'printers and devices.' From the option of 'printer and devices,' go to the 'printer properties' and then choose your default printer from the list of the printers that have been connected to your device. Select it and then choose the option of the set as a default printer, then click 'ok' to save your settings.
Analyzing Printer status
Check your printer status whether the printer parts are in good working, especially the Ink cartridges of the printer. In case if your ink cartridge is filled and there is no problem with that, you can disconnect there and then reinstall it again in the printer. After 15 minutes, restart the printer and then try printing again.
Printer status changes when you change the Ink cartridges. In case if you did not have installed original cartridges, there could be a problem with the printing process. So consider replacing the old cartridge with the original cartridge.
